Missouri resident Kip Cullers, national corn yield contest winner for 2009, was the featured speaker for the Michigan Corn Growers Association Annual Meeting, held Feb. 2 in Lansing, MI. He gave tips on securing winning yields and related how his land sets in a location that has over twice the growing degree days than farmers in Michigan can hope to see in a normal growing season. Cullers gave several tips on growing yields year-to-year.
