The Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee is pleased to welcome Ty Bodeis of Mayville, MI, who recently started as the soybean production specialist.
In his new role, Ty will work with research coordinator Mark Seamon on a variety of projects including on-farm research trials, trial data analysis and evaluation and commercialization of MSU soybean varieties. He will also work with precision agriculture technology to capture data from on-farm research.
Ty is a recent Michigan State University graduate where he earned a degree in Crop and Soil Sciences. He has experience in field scouting, soil and plant tissue sampling, agronomy and custom application and also lives and works on his family’s farm in Mayville.
The Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee is glad to have Ty as a part of the team; his background and experiences make him a great fit for the position.
