REYNOLDSBURG, OH -- Harvest is essentially completed, according to Cheryl Turner, Ohio State Statistician with the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. There were 5.4 days available for fieldwork for the week ending November 27. Winter wheat is in good condition. Warm temperatures this fall allowed the majority of produces to finish harvest and complete some tillage and spraying work for next season. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, nearly 3 percent of the State was rated as in “moderate drought” while another 45 percent was rated “abnormally dry”.
