National 4-H week kicks off with color run in Cass County

CASSOPOLIS, MI -- Color me green… 4-H green that is! Help us kick off National 4-H Week in a big splash of color, by joining us in our first annual Cass County 4-H Color Run on Saturday, October 3, 2015. This fun, family oriented run/walk is an untimed event, where everyone participating will be a winner.

Participants will receive a t-shirt, registration pack, and admittance into the track where a snack tent will be available to those participating free of charge.Snacks will also be available to spectators for a fee.

This first annual run will be held on the Cass County Council on Aging track, located at 60525 Decatur Road in Cassopolis, MI.Registration starts at 8:45 a.m. and the race will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Cost to participate in the run/walk is $20 per participant, but if you are part of a team of 4 or more members, the cost will be $18 each.For those 10 and under, the cost will be $1 per year of age.Registration forms and fees are due by Friday, September 11 by 4:00 p.m.

All proceeds will go to the Cass County 4-H Leaders' Association to help provide scholarships, financial assistance for state and national 4-H events, and planning local programs for the youth of Cass County.

Not sure you will be able to attend?No problem; we will accept registrations the day of the run/walk, but cannot guarantee the availability of a free t-shirt.Cost of registration the day of the run will be $30.
