DeLaval announces partnership with Dairy Girl Network

BANNOCKBURN, IL -- DeLaval and Dairy Girl Network have jointly announced the formation of a strategic alliance. By becoming a sustaining level sponsor of the recently formed organization, DeLaval confirms its alignment with Dairy Girl Network’s mission to connect all women of the dairy industry, encouraging ideas and camaraderie in an effort to achieve personal and professional development. Dairy Girl Network is designed as a welcoming network of passionate women involved in dairy and believes that relationships will grow through shared experiences, support and inspiration. The talent pipeline shows a rising percentage of women entering agricultural degree programs, some of which point to more than 50% female attendees.  In addition, the number of female primary dairy producers is increasing while some estimates point to women composing 67% of secondary farm operators.  With this strategic partnership, both organizations are paving the way for a growing contingent of the dairy industry.

Dairy Girl Network’s first Forward TogetHER conference is scheduled for Nov. 1-3 in Minneapolis, MN and is expected to draw 400 attendees.  DeLaval will support the conference as well as other national and local events throughout the coming year.
