Register for fall craft program

GOSHEN, IN — The Elkhart County Extension Homemakers will host “Simplified Festive Ideas” from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 14 in the Home and Family Arts Building, located on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds. 

Each participant will receive a booklet with recipes, patterns, and instructions. The cost is $5 per person, payable at the door.

The program begins with sharing ideas from fall through the winter and spring holidays. Homemakers will demonstrate how to make painted landscape blocks, floral arrangements, greeting cards, and sewing projects to be used as gifts. There will be a segment of the program all about holiday food ideas using small appliances, especially featuring the crock pot.

Committee members organizing the event are Joellen Allison, Ramona Huber, Maryann Zerbe, Kim McCreary, Mary Gawthrop, and Extension Educator Mary Ann Lienhart Cross.
