Award winners recognized at Ohio FFA Convention

COLUMBUS, OH -- The 90th Ohio FFA State Convention has drawn to a conclusion. As we take a look at the convention in review we are proud to honor those students who have transformed the future of agriculture and have earned exemplary awards.
Paige Schaffter of the Edon FFA Chapter placed third in the state in the area of Agricultural Education. The Agricultural Education proficiency contest relates to education and extension, including, but not limited to, youth mentoring, agricultural education departmental assistants, PALS mentors and student coordinators, developing and conducting informational materials and presentations for civic organizations and school-aged youth, and students who are involved in SAEs surrounding educating the public about the broad topics of agriculture, agriculture education and FFA.
