Commodity Classic offers Orlando tours
ORLANDO -- Attendees at the 2019 Commodity Classic in Orlando, Fla., can make their experience even more memorable by signing up for one or more of the fascinating tours available during the event. Commodity Classic will be held Thursday, February 28 through Saturday, March 2 in Orlando.
Optional tours are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday of that week and are available on a first-come basis until they are sold out. Options include:
• A visit to the Kennedy Space Center
• A tour of historic Winter Park
• A “Behind the Seeds” tour at Epcot
• A cruise on the St. Johns River through Blue Spring State Park
• An afternoon of family fun at Gatorland
• A visit to Orlando Tree Trek Adventure
• A tour of Leu Gardens and shopping on Park Avenue
“These optional tours are a great way for families to make the most of their time in Orlando and to have one-of-a-kind experiences they can’t have anywhere else,” said Wesley Spurlock, a Texas farmer and co-chair of the 2019 Commodity Classic.
“While Commodity Classic is focused on making all of us even better farmers, it’s also about having a little fun and taking some time with family. This year’s line-up of optional tours truly has something for everyone.”
In addition, a special tour of the John Deere Training Center is offered to registered farmers and commodity association national and state staff. The minimum age for this tour is 18. Convention registration status will be verified before registration for the John Deere Training Center experience is confirmed.

Tour fees vary and are not included with convention registration.
Tours may be reserved online, by mail, or via fax using the form available on the website. Space is limited, and tours are available on a first-come basis. The deadline to preregister for tours is Monday, January 28, 2019. Tour registrations are refundable only if canceled by that date. On-site registration in Orlando will be accommodated subject to space availability.
