Purdue University heritage skills classes
GOSHEN, IN – In an effort to teach heirloom and family heritage skills, the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers are hosting their annual Heritage Skills Classes on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Home and Family Arts Building on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds is located at 17746 County Road 34 in Goshen. Full-day and half-day classes will be offered from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Prepaid registration is required. All registration fees will be held until the minimum participant number required is met. Registration will be accepted through February 15, 2021. If a cancellation occurs checks will be returned. There will be a 45-minute lunch break; you may bring your own lunch or leave the fairgrounds to get lunch. If additional classes become available, they will be added to the website below. Masks are required to be worn inside the building at all times. Social distancing will be in effect.
Full Day Classes
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Half Day Classes
Morning classes: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Afternoon classes: 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Festival of Lights Bracelet (AM) - $20, Taught by Sue Martin
• English Paper Piecing (AM/PM) - $23, Taught by Cheryl Baker
• Spiral Rope Necklace with Beaded Bead Embellishment (PM) - $25, Taught by Sue Martin
