USDA gathers information to determine financial well-being of agriculture
EAST LANSING, MI – The Junior Livestock Association board met on December 16th, and decided as a whole to postpone the Market Beef tagging until March 13, 2021. Rules DO NOT change; animals still have to weigh 1,000 lbs. at fair time. In case of any changes, please watch for updates closer to each event.
March 13, 2021 - Market Beef & Heifers - 9 a.m. to 12 noon at UPI, Cass City
April 10, 2021 - Prospect Feeders - 9 a.m. to 12 noon - Fairgrounds, Bad Axe
May 8, 2021 - Sheep - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Fairgrounds, Bad Axe
May 8, 2021 - Swine - 9 a.m. to noon - Fairgrounds, Bad Axe
Please check the Huron Community Fair website at huroncommunityfair.com closer to tagging dates for the updated JLA registration form and Fair Entry form, as both are REQUIRED to be completed and ready to turn in at each specie tagging.
